i remember, a few Sundays back at YSC [Youth Sunday Classes] we were talking about pessimist's and optimists.
so then, Auntie [Teacher] Annie asks us if we were pessimists or optimists. we asked her how do we know and she came up with this.

when you see a glass that is half filled with water, do you think it is half empty or half full?

apparently, it's a psychological question and she was absolutely shocked to find that most of us were pessimist's, including me. so if you tried to answer the question, here's the verdict.

for those who thought it was half empty, you all are shameless negative pessimist's.
for those who thought it was half full, you guys make me sick cause you are way too happy, positive little optimistic pricks. hurrah for you.

so today, for the whole afternoon i was feeling like a bitch. so i decided to take it out on my feet. remember those shoes i complained about for making me feel like a total bitch? those uber-pretty ones? well, i had them on for the whole afternoon. and i am proud to say, i'm not about to chuck them out the smelly old river. in fact, they feel quite pleasant now. well for me, cause they totally boost my confidence cause they look so pretty with my purple toes. :) but my pinky toes absolutely abhor me now. hmpfh. and they decide to punish me by exhibiting how red and bulgy and ugly they are after my stunt to make me feel ugly. eek.

so like, God only knows how many times i've listened to Ultraviolet by The Stiff Dylans today. i think about. 52, or more. or less, entah i dont count. but up till now, im still enjoying it. i know the song inside out now. happy, happy.

i watched the VMA's this afternoon, and i'd like to say that Russell Brand was absolutely hilarious. :) he was too, in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. but i liked him in the VMA's, though it was quite awkward when he started trashing the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings promising to stay virgins for life. he apologized later on. :) i applaud Brit Spears for winning three awards; Best Female, Best Pop and Video of The Year. yet i was quite annoyed when the Jonas Brothers were nominated twice, but didnt win one. i liked the song they performed though, pretty cool.

oh, GOD. i'm getting sick of my pessimist thoughts right now. where is the boyfriend to cheer me up? hmpfh. someone? anyone? eep.


P.S. on a very un-pessimistic note; my toes are a very pretty purple colour. i decided to paint them purple after my Ultraviolet craze. heh.
