good morning.

hullo, first day of VBS.

so, i'm hurt all over my body and exhausted and that weird Obey song is in my head but VBS was pretty darned awesome. and i'd do it all over again. which i am. tomorrow. at 7.15 am sharp. um.

anyway, i'm a helper in the green team and the greens are the most quiet kids i've ever met.
Charissa's in my group though, thank heavens.


Joshua Wong, the quiet, painfully sarcastic guy with the deepest voice i've ever heard on a dude, is my partner in Green. he's pretty funny, in a weird way. xDD

i'm in charge of workout sessions with Jeremy and Nadia. Jeremy's sort of our leader guy, and me and Nadia just follow suit.

so, you know how when you're leading a bunch of kids, you're definitely bound to end up with some favourites. i have three painfully adorable kids who i've taken a liking to.


1. Lydia
she's the super shy one who me and Joshua thought we were gonna have a problem with cause she was just so shy. but after that picture was taken, she smiled so there was still hope. :D
during the arts and crafts thing, me and Josh helped her do half of her work cause she was pretty slow, she was still on the third commandment when everybody was done, but i could see that her shyness has left the building cause she had a friend.


2. Gabriel
he's adorable. he caught me and Nadia's eye when he walked in. i mean, need i say more?


3. Elijah.
and finally Elijah. he's not in my team, unlike the other two, but there was just something about him that caught my eye since the beginning. he was the one who sat alone during snack time and lunch. he was the quiet one who did what he was told to do. and during game time, he surprised some of us by being the only one clever enough to look at hiding places no one thought to look at. i think its the fact that he's just so... Filipino that i liked. everything about him screamed Pinoy. twas like, whoa. cause, there aren't may pinoy kids in CFCB.

but of course, i'm forever in love with these guys.

game time tore me apart. Adeline came up with it, it was called Golden Turkey. the Youth helpers had to hide and when the kids found you, they gained how many points you were. i was worth 30points. Joshua was 100. so anyway, the thing was Dorothea found me but then let me go. then me and Jo Yee paraded around for not being caught, but then Iman and erryone else caught me and Jo Yee and i made a show and struggled a bit. big mistake. kids trampled on my feet, and roughed up on me to get me to stay. my whole body ached. as if that wasn't enough when i was going down the stairs with Dorothea, i skipped a huge step and i sprained my ankle. i can barely walk without limping now. grr.

i think i'm done ranting. god, i can't wait till camp. first two nights are sleeping over at Weng Jin's place and the last night at Nicola, Nadia and Nyssa's place. me and the girls are probably not gonna get much sleep during the sleepover at Weng Jin's place. i mean, this is Weng Jin. she's one of the girls. xDD
